A series of high-scoring wins and one loss

Lewes Under 13s were away to Eastbourne and won 5-85. This was a huge team effort as the spread of try scorers shows and a big improvement on the previous week. Try scorers were Miles Govus, Jack Soltermann, Finlay Toghill, JJ Clarke, Geordie Gwinn, Franco Ricci, Robbie Stoner, Alex Brydon, Jack Billin and Jude Littlewood. Man of the match was Finlay Toghill for some fantastic tackling and an impressive work rate.

Along with other clubs, all teams observed the Remembrance Sunday two-minute silence before their games. After this the Under 14s took on Worthing at home and it was a very different result to last week, resulting in a 80-0 victory with tries from Ben Goode, Ben Bishop, Rafferty Green, Dylan Cridland and Edward King.

The Under 15s beat Pulborough 43-14 after a fantastic start with the first score to Lewes setting the tone after five minutes. Lewes maintained the pressure throughout the first quarter with some good rucking, tackling and strong direct running from all and a number of tries followed, along with a few periods of excellent defensive work to keep Pulborough at bay. Apart from an unsteady last 10 minutes this was maintained throughout the first half and Lewes went into half-time with a 24-0 lead with the bonus point for four tries already achieved. They maintained the pressure in the second half and pushed on to a 43-0 lead, but with two late scores by Pulborough the final score ended 43-14. Tries came from Billy Dean-Gant, Oisin McWalter, James Willets, Joe Barnes, Alfie Barnes (2) and Callum Drew.

The Under 16s travelled to Edenbridge and came away with a 40-5 victory. This was a real team defensive effort under a lot of pressure for much of the game and Lewes ran in all their tries from inside their own 22 following turnovers. Pick of the scores came from second row Sam Crichton for breaking through tackles inside his own 22 and sprinting the length of the pitch, past Edenbridge's fullback to score near to the posts. Other tries was scored by Adrigh Cole (2), Harry Hunter (2) and Harvey Joy along with five conversions from Henry Hughes.

The fly in the ointment was the Colts’ game where a one-sided affair ended in a 67-0 loss to Hove.
