Crowborough concede both fixtures

Unfortunately, Crowborough were not able to field teams against Lewes in either fixture this Saturday (2 April).

Lewes 1sts, chasing promotion from the London and SE Division - Sussex Spitfire 1, were due to play Crowborough 2nds. With two league games remaining, this puts Lewes on 93 points with Haywards Heath second on 79 and due to play Seaford at the Salts on 2 April.

Meanwhile Lewes 2nds were due to play their league game against Crowborough 3rds away but understandably, given their position with their 2nds, their hosts also could not field a team.

On Sunday 3 April three Lewes minis teams play in the Sussex Festival in Chichester, having come out on top of their groups at one of the four district festivals held on 13 March. Junior Chair Pete Barron said "I wishes the Under 7s, 9s and 12s the best of luck and hope the weather is good and the kids all have a brilliant time!"
