With Lewes 1st's having a rest day, their 2nd XV were able to field a strong side at the Stanley Turner Ground, resulting in a narrow but deserved victory for the hosts against local rivals Seaford by 10-3. Lewes' scores came via a try from centre Ben Summers (pictured) and a conversion and a penalty from Josh Farr.

On Saturday, Lewes 1st s make the long trip to League leaders Thanet Wanderers, ko 2.00pm. Although beating Thanet at home earlier in the season, Lewes will have to improve their game considerably if they are to come away from this top-of-the-table encounter with any advantage.
