Membership
The Minis and Juniors season officially starts on Sunday 8thSeptember. We are all looking forward to welcoming our returning players and new faces to the Lewes RFC rugby family.

Membership fees for Minis and Juniors are fixed at 2018/2019 prices for the 2019/2020 season. All subscriptions and player registrations must be made online (via Pitchero) from this season to ensure better management and communication. For those of you who have traditionally paid by cash or cheque, a team will be available from the committee on three registration days (8th, 15th, 21stSeptember) to take card payments and to help with the online forms.

Lewes RFC Minis and Juniors on Tour (U7-U14, Lionesses U13 & U15)
We are planning a tour again this season, organised by James and Kieran (U10s). We learnt a lot from last season’s tour, so the plan this year is to go with the tours organised by Leicester Tigers. The tour is held at Butlin’s in Minehead and shuttle buses are organised to / from the matches. There are lots of other activities to occupy the whole family and parents book accommodation themselves so have much more control. Packages from £125pp which make it a much more affordable option. However we do have to register our interest soon as possible to guarantee our place to ensure parents can secure the most affordable accommodation.

RWC2019
The Club will be hosting a number of events to coincide with RWC2019, so please keep an eye on the website and Facebook pages for more information. England's group game against Tonga is on at 11.15 on Sunday 22nd September.

Samurai kit
The Samurai Rep will be onsite on Sunday 8th. Match shorts and socks are available via the online shop https://samuraiclubshops.com/uk/lewesrfc/ and we will selling Samurai shirts directly to parents in the near future. Please keep an eye on the website for pre-orders.

Other merchandise
Other merchandise (such as beanies) are being organised and other items such as polo shirts, bags, water bottles, ties, gum shields and umbrellas will be sold from the clubhouse.

Second hand kit
A second hand kit stall is planned for this season but this relies on donations of Lewes and non-Lewes kit including boots to the Club. The idea is that parents donate items to the ‘store’ and will be able to purchase items at low cost. Membership Secretary Shayne will be collecting items in the Club House on registration days.

Communication
There will be increased use of social media, website and Pitchero (email / message board) for communication about club events, activities and initiatives. We appreciate that there hasn’t always been a lot of relevant content on these platforms so we are aiming to address that over the coming season.
