Perfect playing conditions create four high-scoring and enjoyable games

The U17s beat Bognor in the friendly league 50-21 at home with three tries from full back Louis Barron, and one each from skipper Freddy Mouland, wing Kieran Edmonds, second row Jamie Austen, prop Callum McDermott and man-of-the-match centre Mitch Perks as well as five conversions from superb fly-half Dan Billin.

The U16s played away at Haywards Heath and went agonisingly close before losing 22-21. Elliot Curl scored one try and man of the match Harry Hunter got two with Thomas Rourke converting all three.

The U15s hosted Uckfield and acquitted themselves superbly despite only starting with 14 and losing another to injury early on. They gained a four-try bonus point before losing 26-43 with the touchdowns being scored by Billy Dean-Gant (2), Archie Gwynn and skipper Oisin McWalter who also kicked three conversions.

The U14s visited Eastbourne and lost out 45-37 despite running in four unanswered tries in the last 15 minutes.
