Lewes Women's 2nd XV (15) vs Tonbridge Pink Ladies (38)

The Mighty Twos travelled to Tonbridge for their first match of the season. It was a super tough match but Lewes did themselves proud. They brought the game to Tonbridge trailing only 15-19 at half time. Buoyed by a handful of wonderful Sussex Uni players and recent recruits, it was hard to tell that many of the team had not played together before. Lewes stayed positive throughout and the players left everything on the pitch.

Caro Sugranes scored two tries and Ellie Wright, back of the match, the third.
Forward of the match went Pip Young, who vice captained and made a huge impact. We are so glad to have her back!

Lewes played the Lewes way, kept their heads up and enjoyed the day. That's what it's all about!
