Another bonus-point victory

Lewes 1sts had a rest day from League duties on Saturday, but their second-string maintained their push for promotion with a fine bonus-point away victory against local rivals Crawley by 27 points to 5. They are now second with a game in hand over leaders Heathfield.

Ed Pope - 1 try

Man-of-the-Match (selected by skipper Toby Janikoun) was Ryan Byrne.

On Saturday, Lewes 1st XV entertain Hastings & Bexhill in a local derby, k.o. 2.00pm, while the 2nds are away at BH Sea Serpents. The 1st's home match will be preceded by the Annual Vice-Presidents' Lunch (further details from Terry Powell on 01273 812775).
