U13s won convincingly in our first league game at Hastings & Bexhill on Sunday; a 25-5 victory against a tough and physically bigger team. The win was made more satisfying by the increasing control and skill the boys showed through an almost constant downpour and gale. Our opponents had very few attacking opportunities due to a committed defensive line, and some extremely skilful play lead to some memorable Lewes try scoring. A very spirited first Sussex Waterfall performance for the U13s, that bodes well for this season’s ongoing development of what is increasingly a highly competitive and cohesive squad. Very exciting times for the kids, coaches and parents!
