With Crowborough 2nd's unable to raise a side, Lewes were awarded an away walkover, along with 5 League points. As Haywards Heath were unable to secure a bonus point in their narrow win at Seaford, this effectively means that Lewes - with 2 games remaining - cannot be toppled from the top of the League table, as their points difference advantage is far superior to that of their nearest rivals. Lewes are almost certain therefore to be promoted to London League 3 South-east next season, as Sussex 1 Champions.
For the same reason, Lewes 2nd's were also awarded a 5-points walk-over victory against Crowborough 3rd's.
Lewes 1st's are without a match on Saturday, their next match being their last home League fixture against Hellingly on Saturday, 16th. April, and their last League game of the season away to Seaford on the 23rd April, both k.o's at 3.00pm.
